The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.195% high yield, a price of 99.984833.
The coupon equivalent was 0.198%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.50.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 40.94%. The median rate was 0.180%. The low rate was 0.140%.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 24 and are due Jan. 21, 2016.
Tenders totaled $157,336,738,900 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,278,900, including $279,125,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
