The Treasury Department Thursday auctioned $13 billion of 29-year 10-month bonds with a 3% coupon at a 2.905% high yield, a price of 101.8821645.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.29.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 62.27%.
The median yield was 2.842%. The low yield was 2.715%.
Tenders totaled $29,748,370,300 and the Treasury accepted $13,000,002,300 including $12,740,300 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The bonds dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2045.
