The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $12 billion of 29-year 11-month bonds with a 2.25% coupon at a 2.475% high yield, a price of 95.262459.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.13.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 87.33%.
The median yield was 2.400%. The low yield was 2.188%.
Tenders totaled $25,547,390,900 and the Treasury accepted $12,000,017,800 including $18,729,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought nothing for their own account.
The bonds dated Aug. 15, will mature Aug. 15, 2046.
