The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.056% yield, a price of 99.835061.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.23.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 30.74%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.015%. The low yield was 0.800%.
Tenders totaled $77,600,983,300 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,053,300, including $39,783,300 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Sept. 15, will mature Sept. 15, 2018.
