The Treasury Department Monday auctioned $26 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.998% yield, a price of 99.637993.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.18.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 31.48%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.964%. The low yield was 0.900%.
Tenders totaled $82,771,483,700 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,033,300, including $61,783,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $34,696,400 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2017.
