The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.930% yield, a price of 99.837652.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.79.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 97.63%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.880%. The low yield was 0.688%.
Tenders totaled $67,000,701,900 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,056,400, including $30,001,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated June 15, will mature June 15, 2019.
