The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 3/4% coupon at a 0.850% high yield, a price of 99.704412.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.98.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 54.18%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.800%. The low yield was 0.688%.
Tenders totaled $71,606,568,600 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,045,600, including $41,168,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,458,280,200 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Aug. 15, will mature Aug. 15, 2019.
