Treasury 3-Year Notes Go At 0.456% High Yield

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Monday auctioned $32 billion of three-year notes with a 3/8% coupon at a 0.456% yield, a price of 99.758927.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.44.

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 94.55%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.

The median yield was 0.436%. The low yield was 0.358%.

Tenders totaled $109,949,262,800 and the Treasury accepted $32,000,025,300, including $33,962,800 non-competitive.

The Fed banks also bought $2,221,922,200 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The notes, dated March 15, will mature March 15, 2015.
