NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $42 billion of two-year notes with a .750% coupon at a 0.802% yield, a price of 99.897034.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.16.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 95.78%.
The median yield was 0.770%. The low yield was 0.655%.
Tenders totaled $138,984,692,200 and the Treasury accepted $44,000,042,200, including $416,622,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $1,321,280,100 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated Nov. 30 and due Nov. 30, 2011.
