NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $38 billion of two-year notes with a 5/8% coupon at a 0.665% yield, a price of 99.920863.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.33.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 88.09%.
The median yield was 0.639%. The low yield was 0.570%.
Tenders totaled $126,467,035,700 and the Treasury accepted $38,000,115,700, including $522,435,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $1,247,784,500 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated July 31 and due July 31, 2012.
