NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $35 billion of two-year notes with a 1/8% coupon at a 0.249% yield, a price of 99.752770.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.76%
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 19.45%.
The median yield was 0.225%. The low yield was 0.171%.
Tenders totaled $131,739,808,200 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,108,200, including $204,508,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $1,089,663,100 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated Sept. 30 and due Sept. 30, 2013.
