NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $35 billion of two-year notes with a 1/8% coupon at a 0.222% yield, a price of 99.806537.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.44%
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 73.87%.
The median yield was 0.209%. The low yield was 0.147%.
Tenders totaled $120,475,247,900 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,077,900, including $147,747,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $1,070,488,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated Aug. 31 and due Aug. 31, 2013.
