Treasury 2-Year Notes Auctioned at 1.280% High Yield

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $26 billion of two-year notes with a 1 1/4% coupon at a 1.280% yield, a price of 99.941124.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.44.

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 53.92%.

The median yield was 1.252%. The low yield was 1.100%.

Tenders totaled $63,348,159,400 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,047,400, including $173,824,400 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought $3,457,357,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The two-year notes are dated Dec. 31 and due Dec. 31, 2018.
