The Treasury Department auctioned $23 billion of 10-year notes with a 1 5/8% coupon at a 1.710% high yield, a price of 99.221906.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.68.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 30.57%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.680%. The low yield was 1.600%.
Tenders totaled $61,704,731,400 and the Treasury accepted $23,000,026,900 including $31,051,400 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $5,201,456,300 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated May 15, will mature May 15, 2026.
