The Treasury will auction $28 billion of 90-day bills and $28 billion of 181-day discount bills. The 90-day bills are dated Nov. 28 and due Feb. 26, 2009, and the 181-day bills are dated Nov. 28 and due May 28, 2009.

The Treasury will auction $36 billion of two-year notes.

Existing home sales figures for October are released by the National Association of Realtors.

Preliminary gross domestic product figures for the third quarter are released by the Commerce Department.

Consumer confidence figures for November are released by the Conference Board.

The Treasury will auction $26 billion of five-year notes.

Wednesday, November 26
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Nov. 22 are released by the Labor Department.

Personal income and spending figures for October are released by the Commerce Department.

Durable goods figures for October are released by the Commerce Department.

New home sales figures for October are released by the Commerce Department.

Final consumer sentiment figures for November are released by the University of Michigan.

Thursday, November 27
Markets are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
