The Treasury will auction $29 billion of 91-day bills and $28 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated Oct. 28 and due Jan. 27, 2011. The 182-day bills are dated Oct. 28, and due April 28, 2011.
The Treasury will auction $10 billion of four-year, six-month inflation-indexed bonds that are dated Oct. 15 and due April 15, 2015.
Existing home sales figures for September are released by the National Association of Realtors.

Tuesday, October 26
Consumer confidence figures for October are released by the Conference Board.
The Treasury will auction $35 billion of two-year notes that settle Nov. 1 and are due Oct. 31, 2012.

Wednesday, October 27
Durable goods figures for September are released by the Commerce Department.
New home sales figures for September are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury will auction will auction $35 billion of five-year notes that settle Nov. 1 and are due Oct. 31, 2015.

Thursday, October 28
Initial jobless claims figures for the week ending Oct. 22 are released by the Labor Department.

The Treasury will auction $29 billion of seven-year notes that are dated Oct. 31 and due Oct. 31, 2017.

Friday, October 29
Advance gross domestic product figures for the third quarter are released by the Commerce Department.
Employment cost index figures for the third quarter are released by the Labor Department.
Final consumer sentiment figures for October are released by the University of Michigan.
