Stripped Treasury Securities Down $917 Million in May

Newly issued Treasury securities held in stripped form decreased about $917 million in May to a total of $175.266 billion, the ­Bureau of the Public Debt reported ­yesterday. The program allows investors to hold and trade the individual interest and principal components of eligible notes and bonds as separate securities.
