Sports Authority CFO Quits

Charles M. Foley, chief financial officer of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, has resigned effective Oct. 31.

The authority issued bonds supported by hospitality-related taxes in Maricopa County to build a football stadium in Glendale for the Arizona Cardinals. It also provides support for local government bonds that finance spring training complexes in the county for several Major League Baseball teams.

The ASTA’s revenue bonds have unenhanced ratings of A-minus from Fitch Ratings and A2 from Moody’s Investors Service.
