RBC makes second senior NFP healthcare hire in six months

RBC Capital Markets has hired Teri Hartman, formerly of Barclays, to join its municipal finance department healthcare group, its second senior hire for its not-for-profit healthcare group in the past six months.

Hartman has over 30 years of experience in healthcare investment banking, including with multi-state, single state, super-regional health systems, academic medical centers and children’s health systems.

She will work out of RBC's Atlanta office and report to Adrian Balderrama.

“We are pleased to welcome Teri to RBC,” said Jim Tricolli and Bob Spangler, co-heads of the muni finance department. “She joins us after Tim Wons was added in December, and a third will be joining toward the end of June.”

Prior to Barclays, Hartman was a managing director and head of the southeast not-for-profit healthcare banking group at Citigroup. A graduate of Duke University, she started her investment banking career at Bankers Trust.

Outside of work, she keeps herself busy as a board member of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, the Rotary Club of Downtown Atlanta, and Healthcare Georgia Foundation.
