John Bradford Crow died July 15 at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., after a long illness. He was 77.Mr. Crow, who was known as Brad, was born in East Orange, N.J., and moved to Pasadena in 1929 and San Marino, Calif., in 1930. He attended Polytechnic School in Pasadena, South Pasadena High School, and the University of California at Santa Barbara. Mr. Crow was a salesman and vice president for Dean Witter & Co. from 1955 to 1982. After leaving Dean Witter, he held executive positions with Drexel, Burnham, Lambert; Bateman-Eichler; and Kinsell, Newcomb & De Dios. Mr. Crow was also an active sportsman and a member and chairman of the Los Angeles County Fish and Game Commission. He joined the commission in 1981 and served until his death.He is survived by Kathleen, his wife of 48 years; children Bradford, Edward, Kevin, and Hilary; son-in-law Jeff Scofield; daughters-in-law Janet and Nancy; and grandchildren Morgan, Tate, and India Scofield and John Bradford Crow II. Services were held on July 21 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pasadena.
