
Tax exempt money market funds said total net assets slipped to $268.64 billion after outflows of $683.2 million in the week ended March 3, according to The Money Fund Report, a service of iMoneyNet.com.
The decline came on the heels of $1.29 billion of inflows in the previous week.
The average, seven-day yield for the 420 weekly reporting funds was unchanged at 0.01%, while the average maturity declined by one day to 30 days.
Among the 1,016 weekly reporting taxable money market funds, total net assets decreased by $2.26 billion in the week ended March 4 to $2.422 trillion versus inflows of $9.78 billion in the week before.
The average seven-day yield for the taxable funds remained at 0.01%, while the average maturity remained at 46 days.
The total net assets of the combined 1,436 weekly reporting money funds fell by $2.94 billion in the week ended March 4 to $2.691 trillion - after the arrival of $11.07 billion of inflows in the previous week.
