Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its underlying rating for credit program on Morley-Stanwood Community Schools, Mich.'s general obligation debt one notch to A from A-minus.
The outlook is stable.
The upgrade reflects Standard & Poor's opinion of the district's improved financial performance and maintenance of strong reserves that officials expect to maintain.
