Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it has raised its underlying rating to A-plus from A on McMullen County Independent School District, Texas' outstanding general obligation debt.
The outlook is stable.
"We base the upgrade on our view of the district's very strong financial position, including the district's robust reserves," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Emmanuelle Lawrence.
