About 5,466,400 online job postings appeared on leading Internet job boards in March, an increase of 15,200 from February, the Conference Board reported Wednesday.
"Online demand growth over the first quarter of 2015 at plus-349,000 has been the strongest quarterly growth in eight years," said Gad Levanon, director of macroeconomics and labor markets at the Conference Board. "The growth has been well-balanced across the regions of the country and the major occupational groups, reflecting an overall healthy employer demand so far in 2015."
