Grant Hamill, Richard Beames Join Stone & Youngberg's Board

Stone & Youngberg Holdings LLC announced Friday that Grant Hamill, managing director in its public finance group and head of its Arizona office, and Richard A. Beames, sales manager and managing director in its institutional sales and trading group, have joined the firm's board of directors.

"Grant and Rich have been invaluable contributors to the firm in their respective roles as managing directors," Ken Williams, Stone & Youngberg's president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "We are pleased to appoint them to our board of directors and we are confident that their expertise will help guide the firm in the years ahead."

Hamill joined Stone & Youngberg in 2002 and has more than 20 years of public finance experience. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in administrative studies from the University of California-Riverside and an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley.

Beames joined Stone & Youngberg in 1998 and also serves on the firm's operating committee. He is a past president of the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club and a two-time member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board qualifications committee. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in geology.
