DALLAS - Richard Triberti, an executive vice president with George K. Baum & Co., resigned from the company last week citing personal reasons.
Denver-based Triberti had been with the company eight years. He served as manager of the underwriting firm's sales and municipal trading department as well as sales manager.
George K. Baum executive vice president Robert Lombardi, who serves as head of the firm's municipal syndicate group, will step in to manage the department.
"Bob has been with us for more than 25 years and has held this position previously," said Robert Dalton, a vice chairman of the company. "In fact, he and Rich have worked as co-managers of the department."
John Hanley has accepted the position of sales manager for the firm. A senior vice president, he had served as assistant sales manager and a senior sale representative for George K. Baum.
Executive vice president Brad Kreidle will continue to head up the firm's Denver trading operation, and Doug Knight will remain head of trading in the firm's Kansas City office.
"These are all experienced people who have been with us for at least 15 years," Dalton said. "They know the operations of George K. Baum backwards and forwards. This is a great team to move forward with."
