Cook Co. SD 104 (Argo-Summit), Ill., Raised to A-Plus by S&P

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its underlying rating to A-plus from A on Cook County School District No. 104 (Argo-Summit), Ill.'s general obligation bonds.

The outlook is stable.

"The raised rating reflects our view of the district's maintenance of very strong available reserves," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Kathryn Clayton.

The rating reflects the district's: participation in the Chicago area's deep and diverse economy, good income level and strong market value per capita, and very strong available reserves when considering general fund and working cash balances.
