CDC IXIS Financial Guaranty yesterday named Katherine McManus as a managing director in its U.S. public finance group.
McManus joins CIFG from the business and legal groups of MBIA Insurance Corp. Before MBIA, she was a managing director at Fitch Ratings, a vice president and assistant director of the legal analysis group at Moodys Investor Services, and a program manager at New York Citys Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Kathy is an accomplished professional in our industry and we look forward to having her work with us as CIFG expands its market presence, the head of CIFGs global single-risk group, Steven Klein, said in a statement.
McManus is active in the Municipal Analysts Group of New York, the Government Finance Officers Association, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
