Moody's Investors Service said it has upgraded Cass County, Neb.'s general obligation rating to Aa3 from A1.

Moody's placement of the rating under review on June 23, 2015, was prompted by a lack of sufficient financial information for fiscal 2014, which it has since received.
The Aa3 reflects the county's moderately sized and growing tax base, favorably located between Omaha (Aa2/stable) and Lincoln (Aaa/stable); stable financial operations supported by ample reserves; and low debt burden with limited future borrowing plans.
