A New Deputy in Town

Christine Shaw has become Connecticut’s deputy treasurer, Treasurer Denise Nappier announced.

Shaw has worked with Nappier at the Treasury Department since Nappier’s tenure began in 1999, most recently as chief of staff. Previously, Shaw was a litigation associate with the Hartford law firm Day Pitney LLP. She holds three degrees from the University of Connecticut.

Her previous responsibilities with the Treasury included government relations, communications and investment compliance.
