U.S. import prices rose 0.7% in November after rising 0.1% in October, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Thursday.

Economists surveyed by IFR Markers had expected import prices to have risen by 0.7% last month.
Import prices, minus the food and fuels component, rose 0.1% in November after rising 0.1% the prior month.
On a year over year basis, import prices have risen by 3.1%.
Export prices rose 0.5% in November after gaining 0.1% in October. On a year over year basis, export prices have risen by 3.1%.
