HJ Sims has named Jonathan Jarow as managing director and senior vice president in its office in Boca Raton, where he will lead the private client group financial advisory team as the firm expands its presence in southern Florida.
"I am committed to lending support to our experienced income advisors and helping them to grow the unique appeal of HJ Sims' products, along with focusing on their contribution to the firm's impressive reputation and solid history of wealth management," Jarow said in a press release.
Jarow began his career in New York as an advisor with David Lerner Associates, and moved into a management position in 2007 before joining Sims in 2016.
"Jonathan is a solid and experienced leader, who will contribute to the firm's vigorous business expansion efforts in southeastern Florida," Dan Mullane, a Sims managing principal, said in the release. "We are pleased to welcome him to this role."
Jarow holds his Series 7, 63, 53, 24, Life Insurance and Annuity Licenses. He received his bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
"At HJ Sims, the client is our sole focus," Jarow said. "therefore, understanding my advisor's needs in addressing his/her clients' financial goals is of the highest priority for me."
