The weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, was unchanged at 4.40% in the week ending Nov. 25.
The 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields rose one basis point, to 3.94%, from 3.93% the previous week. It stands at its highest level since Nov. 13, when it was 3.98%.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields also rose one basis point, to 3.79% from 3.78% the previous week. It stands at its lowest level since Nov. 13, when it was 3.83%.
The Bond Buyer's 25-bond Revenue Bond Index fell four basis points to 4.58% from 4.62% the previous week. It stands at the lowest level since Oct. 30, when it was 4.53%.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note dropped seven basis points to 2.27%. It stands at its lowest level since Oct. 16, when it was 2.16%
The yield on the Treasury's 30-year bond fell nine basis points to 2.97%. It stands at its lowest level since Oct. 16, when it was 2.94%.
