The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $45 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $100.004 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle March 21 and are due April 18.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
