The New York City Regional Economic Development Council announced a series of consolidated funding application workshops throughout the city’s five boroughs.
The public forums will focus on how to access up to $750 million in economic development funding from agency programs through one application, in the second round of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s initiative to stimulate job creation and economic growth through the regional economic development councils.
New York City workshops will be held in Queens on May 18, at LaGuardia Community College; Staten Island on May 22, at the College of Staten Island; the Bronx on June 7, at Hostos Community College; Manhattan on June 21, at John Jay College; and Brooklyn on June 28, at Medgar Evers College.
