S&P Drops Scott and White Hospital Bonds to A-Plus

Standard & Poor’s lowered its long-term and underlying ratings to A-plus from AA-minus on Tarrant County, Tex., Cultural Education Facilities Finance Corp.’s Series 2008A fixed-rate bonds and Series 2008-1, 2008-2, and 2008-3 revenue bonds issued for the Scott and White Memorial Hospital and Scott, Sherwood and Brindley Foundation.

The agency affirmed its AAA/A-1 rating on the Series 2008-1 and 2008-3 hospital revenue bonds and its AAA/A-1-plus rating on the finance corporation’s Series 2008-2 hospital revenue bonds.
