Berryhill ISD Bonds Pass

Voters in the Berryhill Independent School District last week approved an $8.6 million bond proposal that included $8.4 million for school improvements and $220,000 for three new buses.

The district that serves the Berryhill community in Tulsa County will spend $2 million to expand the high school to accommodate new classrooms, offices, and reception area. The district will allocate up to $1 million for computer infrastructure and technology, and to place interactive white boards in each classroom.

A church building that the district acquired last year will be converted into an early childhood center. Other projects include an indoor training facility for the softball and baseball teams and a larger weight room at the football field house.

The district currently has no rated outstanding debt.
