The Treasury Department will auction $31 billion of 91-day bills and $29 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated April 2 and due July 2, and the 182-day bills are dated April 2, and due Oct. 1.

Consumer confidence figures for March are released by the Conference Board.

Wednesday, April 1
Pending home sale figures for February are released by the National Association of Realtors.

Construction spending figures for February are released by the Commerce Department.

Thursday, April 2
Initial jobless claims for the week ending March 28 are released  by the Labor Department.

Factory order, shipment, and inventory figures for February are released by the Commerce Department.

Friday, April 3
Employment figures for March is released by the Labor Department.
