The U.S. government posted a $120.3 billion budget deficit in November, the Treasury Department reported yesterday.
The federal government has had a deficit for 14 consecutive months.
The tax receipts took in $133.6 billion as government outlays totaled $253.9 for the month.
Economists polled by Thomson Reuters expected a $135.0 billion budget deficit for November.
The budget deficit for October was unrevised from an initially reported $176.4 billion.
