Marion County, Mo., School Raised to A-Plus by S&P

Standard & Poor’s raised its issuer credit rating on Marion County, Mo., School District No. 60’s general obligation bonds to A-plus from A, reflecting healthy financial operations, maintenance of very strong reserves, and good tax base growth. The outlook is stable.

At the same time, the agency assigned its A-plus issuer credit rating to the district’s $1.24 million of Series 2009 refunding GOs.
