The Treasury Department said yesterday it will sell $27 billion of four-week discount bills today to raise $18 billion in new cash and refund $9 billion of maturing bills.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 14 and are due March 13.
Federal Reserve banks hold $14.568 billion of maturing bills in their own accounts.
