Treasury One-Year Bills Go At 2.290% High Rate

The Treasury Department yesterday auctioned $19 billion of one-year bills at a 2.290% high yield, a price of 97.684556.

The coupon equivalent was 2.363%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.49. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 36.58%. The median yield was 2.240%. The low yield was 2.160%.

Tenders totaled $47,288,405,900 and the Treasury accepted $19,000,101,500, including $295,405,900 of noncompetitive.

Treasury also auctioned $28 billion of four-week bills at a 1.710% high yield, a price of 99.867000. The coupon equivalent was 1.736%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.40.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 35.76%. The median yield was 1.640%. The low yield was 1.550%. Tenders totaled $67,206,532,300 and the Treasury accepted $28,000,052,300, including $467,832,300 of noncompetitive.
