Former Fort Worth Mayor pro tempore and City Councilman William W. “Bill” Meadows was elected vice chairman of the North Texas Tollway Authority board of directors. Meadows, a Tarrant County appointee to the nine-member board, is chairman of Hub International Rigg, an insurance and financial services firm. He has served on the NTTA board since July 2004 and was reappointed to the board from Tarrant County for an additional two-year term in August. Meadows will serve as vice chairman for the remainder of an unexpired term through Aug. 31.
