The Louisiana State Bond Commission plans to move forward with a $335 million general obligation bond deal as the state grapples with debt capacity issues.

Tender rates for the Treasury Department's latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were lower, as the three-months incurred a 0.020% high rate, down from 0.035% the prior week, and the six-months incurred a 0.095% high rate, down from 0.135% the week before.

Prices of top-rated municipal bonds were stronger at mid-session, traders said, as yields on some maturities fell by as much as five basis points.
