Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.170% High Rate

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $26 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.170% high yield, a price of 99.828111.

The coupon equivalent was 0.173%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.74.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 35.46%. The median yield was 0.165%. The low yield was 0.150%.

The bills have an issue date of March 8 and are due March 7, 2013.

Tenders totaled $123,149,922,700 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,671,900, including $146,922,700 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
