Treasury Department to Sell $40B of 4-Week Bills

The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $40 billion of four-week discount bills on Tuesday.

There are currently $56 billion of four-week bills outstanding.

The bills settle Feb. 16 and are due March 15.

Federal Reserve banks hold $3.782 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
