NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $35 billion of four-week bills at a 0.020% high yield, a price of 99.998444.
The coupon equivalent was 0.020%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.40.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 57.28%. The median yield was 0.015%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 1 and are due Dec. 29.
Tenders totaled $154,029,097,900 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,611,700, including $268,250,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
