The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.034% high yield, a price of 99.899821.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.69.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 58.67%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.000%. The low yield was 0.895%.
Tenders totaled $64,671,568,600 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,078,400, including $40,993,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $5,254,109,900 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2019.
