NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Monday auctioned $32 billion of three-year notes with a 1/4% coupon at a 0.370% yield, a price of 99.642968.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.73.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 44.86%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.355%. The low yield was 0.276%.
Tenders totaled $119,324,292,800 and the Treasury accepted $32,000,256,200, including $32,082,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $2,271,146,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated Jan. 15, will mature Jan. 15, 2015.
