NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $42 billion of two-year notes with a 0.75% coupon at a 0.769% yield, a price of 99.962406.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.93.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 91.01%.
The median yield was 0.730%. The low yield was 0.660%.
Tenders totaled $123,016,409,600 and the Treasury accepted $42,000,134,600, including $484,409,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $912,662,600 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated May 31 and due May 31, 2012.
